Comfort Dog

Trinity is proud to be part of the Lutheran Church Charities trained K-9 Comfort Dog program. Comfort Dogs provide comfort and calm for individuals at Trinity Lutheran Church and School and organizations, events, and ministries throughout Lincoln and the United States. Our previous Comfort Dog is named Priscilla, and she retired in August 2024. We are in the process of acquiring a new Comfort Dog. To learn more about the Comfort Dog ministry click here.

Outreach Focus

Throughout the year, Trinity highlights other organizations and ministries serving our community in Lincoln and around the world. The Outreach Focus has four different categories: Learn, Pray, Give, and Serve which all emphasize different ways we can support these organizations. LWML

Trinity’s Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) supports many different efforts within Trinity Lutheran Church and School, our community in Lincoln, and around the world. The ladies of LWML pray for Trinity’s confirmands, raise funds for missions, provide Christmas books for Trinity’s ECE students, and more. Trinity’s LWML started in 1945. LWML typically meet the third Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and all women are welcome to attend. LWML is an official  auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since 1942, LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Prayer Squares

Do you love to crochet or want to learn? Trinity's Prayer Square ministries creates Prayer Squares which are tools for comfort and prayer. Prayer Squares are available around Trinity Lutheran Church and for Forward families. The Prayer Squares team meets once a month on Saturday mornings. Check the Calendar page for their upcoming meeting date and time. To request a Prayer Square, contact the Church Office at 402-474-0606.
