Learn

Connecting People to Christ in His Word and Love. The mission statement of Trinity Lutheran School gets to the heart of our organization.

Elementary schools, both parochial and public, have long played an integral role in the communities they serve. From academic enrichment, Extended School Day programming, after school clubs and extracurricular activities, Summer Camp and facility rentals – our school is always in use.

We feel incredibly blessed to serve over 100 student families, with 58 students attending our Early Childhood Education program and 90 students in Grades K-5th. Approximately 69% of our student families already have a church home, with 21% attending TLC. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to partnering with these families to assist in continued Christian instruction with these students. For the remaining 31% of our students who don’t have a church home, TLS is overjoyed at the opportunity to present the love of Christ to them and their families daily.

Trinity’s diverse student body is 71% white, 9.5% African American, 5% Asian or Pacific Islander, 1% Hispanic, and 14% Multi-Ethnic. Through the generous support of Trinity Lutheran Church and other local LCMS congregations, we are able to serve students from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds.

On Sunday, 9/11, we invite you to celebrate several staff anniversaries and installations with us. For their service to the church and dedication to students, we thank Crystal Burgess and Connie Dirks for 25 years, Stacy Leimbach for 15 years, and Margeaux Maul and Kendra Kristalyn for 5 years. We are delighted to formally welcome Mikayla Higgins as our Early Childhood Director, and Elke Hamann as our 3rd Grade Teacher.

Pray

  • Prayers of thanksgiving for the 2022-2023 school year.
  • We give thanks for a dedicated staff and supportive congregation.
  • Please pray that each student at TLS stays Anchored in Christ as they grow to KNOW HIM, SHARE HIM, and SERVE HIM through opportunities at school, home, their churches, and in their communities.

Give

Donations for TLS can be given through the Outreach envelope. Teacher “Wish Lists” will be available at the Outreach of the Month board in the Narthex on Sunday, September 4th.

Serve

We also welcome any donations of time and talents. TLS students and teachers enjoy creating and strengthening relationships with TLC congregation members. We love Pen Pals, Reading Buddies and have several annual volunteer opportunities. If you’d like to volunteer contact the school office at 402-466-1800 or kkristlyn@trinityoflincoln.org.
