Trinity Lutheran Church and School have been faithfully serving God and sharing Jesus' love with the people of Lincoln, Nebraska since 1881. Whether you join us at Church, School, or both we hope you know how much Jesus loves you, and you feel welcomed to our Trinity family!


Trinity Lutheran Church is located in downtown Lincoln at 724 S. 12th Street. 

Trinity Lutheran School is located in central Lincoln at 1200 N. 56th Street.


Trinity Lutheran School is a Christian private school in Lincoln, Nebraska, serving children ages 18 months through 5th grade. Our early childhood program offers toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten classes, while our elementary school serves children in kindergarten through 5th grade. For over 140 years, we have connected students to Christ through quality academics and nurturing education in a welcoming school environment where children feel known, valued, and supported. Trinity Lutheran School is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission. Our early childhood program is licensed by Nebraska DHHS. School hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended care available 7 a.m. to 5:45.

Our Beliefs

We believe:

  • The only true God is the Triune God; one God made of three distinct and separate persons. He is revealed in Holy Scripture as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit works in Baptism, giving eternal life and forgiveness of sins to people of any age.
  • The Gospel gives forgiveness and reconciliation.
  • In the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds, as well as the Book of Concord (1580), and we are faithful followers of Biblical teaching.
  • Through the church, God equips and empowers believers to serve Him by serving others and sharing the good news about Jesus.
  • It is important to sing God's praises and to share in His sacraments.
