Grant started Lincoln Lutheran in 2012 as a 6th grader. While in middle school, Grant participated in football, basketball, track and drama.

Once in high school, Grant became very active! As a freshman he was in drama and theater, and went on to participate in jazz band, soccer and basketball all four years and was a captain his senior year on the basketball team. He has also been actively involved in National Honor Society, Youth Leadership Lincoln; and chosen as one of Lincoln Lutheran’s Cornhusker Boy’s State Representatives, National Merit Finalists and a Presidential Scholar Candidate.

Not only is Grant busy with school work, he is very active in his church community and the Lincoln community. Grant volunteers at his church to run screens on Sunday, has co-emceed Trinity Trivia Night and Trinity dessert auction, Blue Angels Dance Night dessert auction and helps with youth group activities. He also volunteers his time during the summer to help Coach Jason Glines run the basketball camps and Coach Jeremiah Majorins to help run the youth soccer camps for Lincoln Lutheran. All while volunteering and organizing a Red Cross Blood Drive.

After high school, Grant plans to attend the University of Central Florida and has been admitted to Burnett Honor College to study Public Policy Analysis. Grant hopes to be elected to office one day. And, says “Lincoln Lutheran has definitely challenged me by holding me to a high standard in the classroom and pushing me to be active in the school and the surrounding community. However, it has also given me a great support system of teachers and friends who encourage me to succeed and make overcoming those challenges fun and rewarding.´

Thank You Grant for showing and sharing your love of Lutheran Education, time and commitment with the Warrior and Lincoln Community. Thank you for being Lutheran Schools of Lincoln and Lincoln Lutheran student spotlight.
